Need a little lift? Let’s go for a ride…

Field FINAL
The Mo Bottom Project invites you to go for ride. From left, Gerry Kasper, Phil Cooper, Steve Givens, Pat Dillender and John Caravelli.

Life got you down, bucko? Need something to inject a little fun and excitement into your life? You know as well as I do what you need. So fill up that tank, roll down the windows, turn up the stereo, buckle up tight and take that car out for a nice, long ride. Air it out.

We got just the thing to get you in the mood. You can listen here to the first track on Mo Bottom Project’s upcoming first CD, “Well Traveled Road.” The song is called “Let’s Go For a Ride,” and it’s a good old rock ‘n’ roll wake-up call. Life’s too short to sit on the couch all day.  Get out of here. Take the day off and tell ‘em we told you so.

And did you reserve a copy of the CD yet? (Leave us a note…)

Road signLet’s Go for a Ride
Words and music by John Caravelli & Steve Givens

I know you’ve had a long day,
I know we’ve had some hard times,
Lately, baby, we’re missing what we used to be.
Remember that first time,
We went for a long ride, Darlin’
You put your hand on my knee.
And the night opened up for our dreams…

Let’s go for a ride.
Let’s leave this behind.
Let’s go for a ride…baby tonight.

So far from that first time,
So far from that first ride, Darlin’
How did we ever wind up here?
I know we’re come a long way,
I know it’s been a wild ride, baby,
Since you put your hand on my knee,
And the night opened up for our dreams.

Let’s go for a ride.
Let’s leave this behind.
Let’s go for a ride…baby tonight.

Let’s go for a ride…baby tonight.
Let’s go for a ride…baby tonight.
